Simple Vegetarian spaghetti sauce

 5 big tomatoes
 2 large onions
 3 garlic cloves
 1 Bay leaf

In a large pot,warm the oil. Add the onions and garlic and cook until just lightly golden. Add chilli flakes if desired and cook 30 seconds.

Add in tomatoes and bay leaf, and salt and pepper.

Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook until sauce is thick and adjust the heat as needed to keep at a steady simmer. Remove sauce from heat and remove the bay leaf.

Serve as desired.
