Preheat the oven to 220°C.
Put your chicken pieces in a bowl, coat it with a spice rub. Once the chicken is nicely coated put it on a baking the sheet lined with a parchment paper. Arrange the chicken in a single layer to avoid crowding. Cook the chicken in the oven for 50 minutes flipping halfway.
Once the chicken is golden brown on all sides, remove from the oven.
Preheat the oven to 260°C.
In a large clean bowl, combine the cooked chicken with the barbecue sauce and honey.
Place the coated the chicken on a baking sheet again and put it in the oven. Cook for 6 minutes or until nicely crispy to your liking.
